I call the front desk for info on how to get it setup and they insist there’s only wifi and transfer me to tech support who has no idea what to do either. I go in my room and they DO in fact have a hard wire port for internet. Luckily my belongings were not in the room yet. I go to the front desk where it’s discovered that my room has been GIVEN AWAY to another guest even though my checkout date was on Friday. Monday afternoon I come to my room and my key doesn’t work. Not the most ideal situation but I had no choice. Two people at the front desk say the rooms only had wifi but I could set up my computer in the business center which had a hard wire port. I came without my luggage first to make sure everything was good with checking in and that the room would work for myself, daughter and husband long term. Checked in on Friday evening and asked if they had an in- room hard wire port to plug into for internet (my work desktop didn’t allow Wifi for security reasons). I came to stay here through my company while my home was getting worked on from hurricane damage. And at the end of the day, you are always supposed to go above and beyond within reason. I have to preface this by saying I’ve worked at a hotel before and I know what staff is and isn’t able to do for guests. While staying here, I literally felt like I was on the tv show boiling point.
